Firefox ESR and NVDA announces Google home but it is impossible to navigate to or read any of the web page or edit fields with NVDA. For reference NVDA is still working normally with installed versions of Waterfox and Chrome and Edge and even Internet Explorer. It was surprising that even for Portable versions there was an installation process though the result was a folder labelled Firefox Portable with a portable executable in it. I was more surprised after both installs that a message came up saying that accessibility features had been disable , despite these being older versions of Firefox. Sure enough after running the programs I found these installs unusable both with NVDA and Jaws 2018. I downloaded these portable versions of Firefox from the Mozilla site but it appears that they are not genuine older versions as they all appear to have the accessibility problem. Is there an alternative source of portable versions that are accessible? David Griffith How have people got around this?
